About Jenny
Growing up on the family farm, Lisglassick Stud, Jenny went on to graduate from The Irish National Stud 2000. Following on from this Jenny worked for a number of breeding seasons in the foaling unit at Woodpark Stud and Hollyhill Stud as well as spending a season in Arrowfield Stud in Australia.
In 2006 Jenny took on the roll of assistant trainer to Aidan Howard, the highest profile winner during the 15-year period as assistant was undoubtably Winter Escape. Winter Escape’s career highlights being the Grade 3 Novice chase at Cork on 4th November 2018, followed up by winning the Grade 3 Novice chase at Punchestown on 13th January 2019.
In March 2021 Jenny took out her own dual purpose licence, along with a Curragh licence. There are a number of reasons Jenny chose to base her team on The Curragh training grounds, the main one being the strong support network within the racing community on The Curragh. With a small team of horses Jenny sent out her first flat winner within five months of taking out a licence and completed her first flat season with a 11% strike rate.
